Well i took delivery of my 3rd Bassmods and this one is probably my fave.
It dawned on me that these basses seem remarkably similar to the Sadowsky basses that I've owned yet they offer way more options at a fraction of the cost.

    PROS:
    1. weight .. less than 10 lbs
    2. set up with low action
    3. Ulyate pickups give me "close enough" 60's 70's Jazz and Musicman tones in one bass with coil switching options
    4. Preamp is versatile with mid sweep with 3 position taps in addition to treble/bass
    5. Active/Passive
    6. Price
    CONS:
    1. shipped with wrong pickguard (i ordered black)
    2. bass arrived with dead batteries so hopefully the input jack is wired correctly so my new DURACELL dont give out on me prematurely
I will probably get rid of these chrome knobs for black plastic

Very pretty bass. I certainly wouldn't expect a single problem at that price point though. I hope it all gets sorted.

Can you switch the back pickup from 60's to 70's spacing (single coil) as well as using the back pup as the standard humbucker?
