I picked up this slightly beat up White MIM P-Bass Body here on TB. I had the loaded neck on the ready. I got it built pretty quickly and it set up perfectly in about 30 seconds. This is a perfect P-Bass if I ever played one. I was pleasantly surprised by the Threaded saddle bridge(Thanks TyKao). Total investment in this project was only $385. Here's some pics,

Almost forgot the Pickup is a Seymore Duncan SPB1 Vintage and the Pots are CTS with Cloth wiring. This is one of my favorite Builds out of about 100 to date.

NYCBassist, Well done sir! Very classy bass with just the right amount of mojo for a realistic roadworn, right down to the cigarette burn on the headstock. Enjoy the NBD.

This is a nice one. I like the black pick guard.

  13. Nice!!! Reminds me of THIS one (though, it looks like the body in the pic of J.E. is a slab)...

Thanks. It's fun to build these P-Basses. Plus You really don't have to spend a lot if you're patient. I can honestly say this plays and sounds as good as any $1000 bass. Of course Fender made the neck:).

It's a Precision, what's not to like? It's white, the color of the next bass I'll buy...if I can have my way.

Nice looking bass. Makes me wanna play it.
