NBD: Custom-made Single Cut 5 by AV Basses

    Just got the news she's ready to be shipped today. Custom Single Cut 5 made in the Czech Republic by Ales Vychodil of AV Basses. (www.avbasses.com) He's like the European Vinnie Fodera. Here's the specs:
    Exhibition 5A Walnut top, Mahogany tone layer, European Ash wings, matching headstock
    5-pc hard maple/wenge neck-through
    Birdseye maple fretboard with MOP front and top dots
    Nordstrand dual coils with Nordstrand 5A electronics
    Hipshot type a bridge
    Hipshot ultra light tuners
    18mm spacing.
    It will take a little extra time to get it because of customs, etc, but I'm pretty jacked about it.

    I honestly don't know yet. when we were designing it I told him I wanted to keep it under 10, so I've got my fingers crossed.

    Great looking bass. It all looks unbelievable: top, back, headstock, fretboard.
