Was shipped Thursday from England for Friday delivery, but it's stuck in Indy because of customs clearance issues. And I live in Jersey.

It's going to be a long weekend. :(

Wow - I did not know about this model - just checked it on their site - very damn cool!
What's the rough street $$ on one of these?

+1. Not to be nosy, but it is really hard to find a US street price on these. My guess is $2500-3000, but a ballpark would be great.

I am definitely going to buy one of these in a 5 string. I love the look, tone and portability. Cooler looking and better sounding than a Steinberger IMO and is sized to be the ultimate travel bass.

    Congrats BTW!!!:bassist:

They're hard to find at dealers in the US. The 5-string I ordered (in December) cost 2100 GBP delivered.

Beautiful bass, what is the finish over the graphite?

Translucent orange. Depending on the light, it can vary from dark brown to deep red to a metallic orange. Then topped off with a high gloss except for the satin neck.

Are those stock Status strings? Double-ball end with a taper core?

Cool bass! How's the sound and playing position on a strap? Looks comfy.

Sounds quite similar to a Modulus: well defined without sounding hifi-ish and incredible sustain. It's very comfortable when standing and weighs in at 7 pounds. I'm not too keen playing it when sitting because it's unplayable without strapping it.

This is the exact bass I'm looking for. Now that you've had it for a while, what has been your experience with it? I'm seriously thinking about buying one.
