I bought this on Ebay for $517 after shipping! Dead mint 2004 LB70 with minty hardshell.

I'm pretty stoked! It sounds really good and plays very nicely with Sadowsky flats. I've got the action nice and low.

Nice to have a Carvin again.

Is it just me, or does the resale on Carvin gear just suck?

p.s. Nice score you have there.

Great deal. I got my koa lb76 fretless 10 years ago for the same price, then sold it a few years later for more. Sucks to buy one new and have it depreciate but whadda deal for us eh?

The LBs are pretty underrated. That one looks like a beaut, and a good deal.
Resale is pretty bad, but since I've had my LB75 for 20+ years, it doesn't matter much to me.

This bass is great! It's just the right weight and the pickups sound great! I also really like the preamp EQ points, and the fact that the full range of EQ controls give usable sounds. It seems like a lot of preamps out there are extreme when dimed - not this one! So much for Carvin's "sucky electronics"!

They've been my strings of choice for years now. I've tried others but nothing sounds or feels as good as light Sadowsky Flats. They've sounded great on everything I've put them on.

Thanks! This is a serious closet classic - not a scratch. I can't imagine it's been played more than a few times since he bought it.

Good deal. A professional, US made base for the price of a off-shore fender knock-off. Love it.

I love this bass! The neck is perfect! I still need to monkey with the string height a bit, but this baby's a keeper!
