    I've just picked up an old 1970s Ricky copy. It's a neat old neck-through Matsumoto beast that includes the stereo plug. I've seen these things go for up to $1000 (although I don't think it's really worth anything near that).
    I've included pictures of my real 1978 Ricky for comparison.

    Beware the Rickenbacker Police!
    I recently read a post where one guy swears a friend of a friend had his Ric copy confiscated right in the middle of a show.
    Seriously, though, Jay at NJ Guitar and Bass often has Ric copies for sale. Saw a Univox there for $900 or so.
