Been after this bass for a while, its such an amazing instrument to play. I've mainly played my warwick thumb 5 Broadneck and this Dingwall blows it out of the water, still going a keep both of them though. ordered some Payson strings with a .145 low B, I can't wait! {} {} {} {} {} {}
I absolutely love that bass! I know it was designed for Metal, but I have feeling it would work well in a Funk situation.
Andy Irvine, a former Warwick clinician, loves his NG2 and he uses it mainly for R&B and Country. He says band mates says the slap tone is like Seinfeld and they are right!
NG-2's are super versatile basses. I would have no problem bringing mine to any musical situation (well except maybe a chamber music quartet). Bones
Those Nolly NG-2s are such cool basses with the DG Tone Capsule - congrats! I just saw another thread with another NG-2 NBD earlier ... NBD: Pawnshop score!...Dingwall and Fender
