    How's the roasted maple in person? Online it looks like old/moldy wood haha

    It does kinda look like old/aged wood, but it is hand down the best neck I'm ever played.

    One of my all-time fav EBMM finishes. Love that roasted maple neck, too. Just a sexy bass.

    It's a relicing technique, kind of like Fender's "Road Worn" series. The instrument is held at arm's length above a hard linoleum surface, and then released. ;)

    nice! great looking ax you've got there, OP. i have to believe it's a monster with that pickup configuration. glad the neck works for you, too. congratulations on your new instrument! :thumbsup:
