    Picked up one of these on that great deal Sweetwater had last week. I wanted something lighter weight and longer scale than my Fender Reverse Jaguar, this fit the bill really well.

    I already swapped the bridge out for a Hipshot Kickass, and I've got a set of SD Quarter Pound pickups waiting to go in it, when the rest of the electronic parts arrive.

    Did you play it much? I found that stock P pickup to kick ass. High output. Congrats.

    Both the pickups are a bit anemic to me, they seem to be lacking a little something, especially combined, also the stock cheap active EQ is total garbage. I will be redoing all the electronics with independent volumes, a master tone, and then the new SD Quarter Pound pickups.

    That's why the previous iteration. Of this bass was so good. No crappy thrown in electronics, better wood, just a good player. Let us know how you like it after a few weeks.
