7 months is a long time to wait, but well worth it. Loving my new BN4, so enjoyable to play and incredible tone.

Here are the spec's I selected on my custom build and some photos below. If you are debating a high end custom bass I highly recommend FBass. I have a BN5 which I love as well.

    BN4, Four String Fretted Bass
Active with F Bass Preamp, Two Hum-Cancelling F Bass
Stacked Single-Coil Pickups, 22 Frets, 34" Scale, 19mm String Spacing.

    -Antique Brown Burst
    -Black Grain
    -Matte Sheen

    Rosewood Fingerboard
    1.5" (38mm) Nut Width 1
    Antique Neck Stain
    Charge 5pc Maple/Wenge Neck
    Black Hardware

Congrats, always loved how George would match the control plate cover to the grain in the body.

Thanks Guys! Yes, I have always loved how George matches PUP covers and Control Plate. That and the overall comfort of their necks and the way the bass hangs drew me to them from the start. Most importantly I immediately noticed a difference in the way a BN model sounds in the mix of a band compared to other basses I have played over the years. Overall some of the best basses out there you can find.

    Proud to be Canadian!
  15. F Basses somehow seem to escape the discussions about the various single-builder basses, and I don't know why. This bass is a different take on things, but stunning and highly capable I'm certain. Anybody who can build those terrifying Alain Caron six-string fretless monsters HAS to know what's going on.

Just beautiful in an elegant and understated way. Very 'wood-y', brown bass vibe, and I really like the 'no dot' fingerboard.

    Congratulations !!
  16. I’ve only once heard a Fbass in person. I remember the incredible ‘pop’ to the sound where all the notes just seemed to jump out of the fretboard. Amazing basses.
