NBD! Fender American Series Jazz V!!

I won't bore you with details of the transaction and whatnot, I'll just skip to the pics of this beautiful bass that I got for a steal!











It's my first five string, loving it so far!

 

Well, I found the bass thanks to fellow member Obsidianbass. He is from Fredericton and posted a thread saying he was interested. I told him some info about this run of jazz basses (I have a 4 string from the American Series, also with the S-1 switch) and he said he was going to go check it out. I told him that if he decided not to go for it, that he should let me know and I would!

He sent me a PM a few days later and told me he wasn't going to go for it, so I sent the seller off kijiji an email. She said that someone else was interested, and would be meeting her the next day. He didn't show, so she called me and we set up a meeting time in Moncton for today.

I met with her at a friends house, parted with this beautiful, basically untouched Jazz from 2008, and she left with only $550 of my Canadian dollars!

 

Oh yes, and OHSC and some case candy (S-1 switching instructions/diagrams) included!

 

Mine would have been the start of the year 2008, yours would have been late in the year, after theychanged from American Series to American Standard. I love the S-1, who needs a P bass anyways?
