Well my absolute dream bass arrived today. Fender Elite P champagne/ebony. I’ve been looking at fender pj’s for oh so long and today...a dream came true. The craftsmanship on this bass is incredible, and tone shaping abilities are insane. Looking forward to band practice on Tuesday!

Quick update. I've played my Elite P with the band a few times and also did some recording with it. I'm truly in love. Such warm fat tone. My primary bass prior to my Elite was a Sire V7. The V7 is a great bass, but it just can't compare. Pretty crazy, the D string tuning peg on my Sire broke 3 days before I received my Elite. Funny how things work out. Happy Holidays! Cheers.

    Very nice! Congratulations.

Fender has always done metallic finishes really well, and Champagne is no exception. I own stuff in Shoreline Gold, Aztec Gold, Classic Copper and Inca Silver, but the only finish in recent years that has set my heart aflutter has been Champagne.

Welcome to the club! I love the champagne/tort look, but would’ve preferred a maple board. I ended up with an ocean turquoise one myself; favorite neck of any bass I’ve ever owned/played.

    Enjoy!
