guarantee you have never seen one exactly like this 1985 BC Rich Eagle, was displayed at NAMM 1986 Mahogany body, maple neck, ebony board, Badass bridge, Grover tuners Lace Sensor pickups from the factory , was Don Lace's personal bass. Ended up practically unplayed, sold, stripped of all hardware and electronics and sat for years. Recently was put back together with all factory parts and came my way, plays amazing
well it sure is a pretty one --- and with interesting curves --- but it's a fretless so i'm sure it's superior in the best ways! congratulations on your new instrument!
That is retro for sure, super nice! Got something going on with that E string saddle at the bridge, tho..... L
I'm so not a fan of B.C. Rich, but this bass in particular looks spectacular. Hope it sounds as good as it looks.
Cool! Though I don't get why they went with an Ironbird headstock. Probably because it was 1986 Enjoy the hell out of that incredible instrument!
I think it's especially cool that you know so much of the back story. That's very interesting. Enjoy!!
K, if I was a betting man, I'd say the saddle is just popped up and jammed in its groove, but hopefully there's no damage. I don't know if you can get those saddles anymore. But it's probably repairable even if there is something bent, chipped etc.... L
