    Hi everyone,

Just got my new G&L today. Took about 12 weeks including transit and some holiday delays in there. Black burst over Ash, #8 Neck with vintage tint gloss, Ebony board and black headstock. I've only played her for a few, but I think we're going to get along just fine. I got a really good deal on it from a dealer I know really well (too low to show! lol).

Anyhow, here are some photos and I'm off to get my G&L Club Member Number.

Sweet looking bass. An SB2 is on my list of basses to try.

Sweeeeeet. Thinking of a fretless version very similar to this.

Awesome SB-2. Mine has been my #1 for the last 5 years.

Is that one of the new ones?

The LB-100s and SB-1s are some of the best-sounding P-basses I've ever heard.

    Love the stealthy look :)

    Happy NBD!
  15. Beautiful bass. Someday I'll own another SB-2. Traded mine years ago for a Pedulla Rapture. The SB-2 is a great-sounding P-Bass.

I have no idea. Not too heavy for me after a back surgery, so I'd say reasonable. To this day, I've never weighed a bass, only cabinets.

Congrats!! Enjoy your new toy! :)

I love my SB2, it's my go to bass now. I still love my Fender Jazz's but...they're not an SB2!
  18. Rad. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out between the two of you I'd not be ashamed of sloppy seconds. :D

Congrats fucanay! I have a SB-2 built from two 80's parts - neck and the body - and I use it as my D-tuned bass. That low D is amazing on it :)

That is AWESOME. My dream G&L is same finishes just with white body binding and bound/black neck on a L-2000.
