NBD Jazz and Pickguard Suggestions Welcome

  2. I´d go with black pg.

    Congrats and take care not to take over your main bass.

    Of course you should already know you can only play jazz with jazz bass:)

    Agreed. IMO, Sunburst/maple looks best with a black p/g.

    gjbassist: where did you get the pg? Very nice look! I am torn between the tort and black but the tort is definitely calling in a louder voice. Especially after seeing that pic!

    Not a big fan of pearl. White pearl on black, maybe...

    It is the vintage tort which has some yellow/orange in it that ties in with the body color. Very inexpensive but well made IMO for the money!

    I put on the Hi Beams and man! this bass really opened up. Sounds just great. I have been playing for a while today and I am rather pleased. :bassist:
