Just got this one today - haven't been able to plug it into my live rig yet - only the home practice amp, but it does sound great, 9 lbs, plays like butta! I'll be taking it to my weekend gigs - Friday & Saturday night, for the real test.

Very nice! I really like the subtle burst finish. Can you give some more details on the specs?

I'm really loving that shape! I know LeCompte has always made good basses since he started, but at least to my own aesthetics, it seems that he has really bumped up his game with the newer models. Enjoy the heck out of it man! :bassist:

That is a seriously cool burst. Almost matches the fingerboard.

Thanks! Yeah, subtle burst was the goal - I requested a light edge as he did on the Chewy Linton signature bass.

Your Acid J turned out awesome, bwoodman!
IMHO it turned out much more elegant than the render.
Bud has a more traditional Acid J in the works for me, but I do love your choices on the body mod and modern peg head.
The fingerboard matching lam on the exposed neck looks great as well.
    Everything just "works"! Congrats again.

Wow, bursts are usually not for me, but that looks great!

    Enjoy.
