Purchased from our very own @PhatBasstard . Shout out to him for shipping international too.

Warmoth Leland Sklar P Body, MIM Fender P neck. Twin EMG active P pickups, quick change battery boxes, Hipshot extender.

    Etc etc.

In short, plays great, looks great. The neck pickup particularly sounds eff-ing HUGE.

Have never played a P with flats on before, actually, so looking forward to exploring that sound too.

Just picked this up last week from final assembly/setup. 100% Warmoth, Active EMGs and Drop-D. Yours is lovely!

    Nice.
I think the dual P option is often overlooked and underappreciated.
I'd be really interested in hearing the difference between the PU placement (especially the neck pu) on these 2 basses.
It's been a while since I looked at the Warmoth site - but I couldn't find a dual P Body - were these custom routed after the fact?
    Congrats to both!

you'd never know from the pictures, but lots of spector users are running dual P emg soapboars in their basses. very popular with TB players.

That's pretty! Is that the holo-flake finish from Warmoth?

I've actually been wanting to do a bass like that for a while. Then I convinced myself I didn't need one... then I see this thread.

    Dangit.

These both looks awesome! Killer finishes on both. I too would be curious to hear how the different p/u placement sounds between these two.
Kinda funny to think about how, while the P is arguably the most-recorded bass in history, Sklar's P which is one of the most recorded P's in history, has two pickups in the Jazz position.
