  1. I originally posted in luthier's corner: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=685560

-But since it's finished and in my hands, and I want to show off , I'd like to share it here, where more people sees it.

Great bass, plays like butter, sounds soo clear and full:hyper:

NBD = New Bass Day if i'm correct.

  5. You're correct, it's New Bass Day, and that's a great bass to celebrate! Beautiful!

  6. The bridge is rmc piezo-saddles and a locally made aluminium "housing". Sorry, don't know the appropiate term.

Beautiful bass! Share some specs: pickups/preamp? woods? control layout, etc?

Looks like its a tonal chameleon!

  8. Body woods: walnut over arabutanga mahogany, chambered.
Maple neck w wenge stripes, ebony fb.

2 custom Mørch tubestackers (splittable for sc/hb operation)
rmc piezo saddles with preamp. Passive tone control, active tone control for the piezos.
Active master, passive master vol. p.u balance knob, piezo/pu balance knob.

  9. that looks great! I know i said it in the other thread too, but it's still hot! my GAS for a Morch bass has increased tenfold!

  10. Makes sense!Thanx for that.

    What are the string spacing?

  12. tak :)

String spacing is 16mm like my Bongo. In fact, I had Johnny shape the neck after the Bongo, except for the fb curvature, that is compound on the Mørch

  13. Nice. It doesn't have the best access to the 24 fret or does it?

  14. Nope, you have to work a bit. I chose form over function, since I prefer his older design to the new one which have better access, but aren't as pretty IMO

  15. It sure is a fine bass. Tillykke

By the way Tb'ers. Go and check this guy! He is a monster player :)
