NBD- MusicMan Caprice!

    I've been wanting one of these for years. I had a 2006 MM Sterling that was collecting dust so I took it (and some other musical odds and ends) down to my local Music Go Round and traded for this minty-as-new MM Caprice. There isn't a mark on it anywhere. It sounds great, plays beautifully, and is nice and light. Sweet! I'm not sure about the tort guard, though... I think black might look better.

    If I could have justified keeping both I think I would have! I have an old MM Sabre that covers enough of the same sonic ground (with the bridge pickup) as the Sterling that I convinced myself to let the latter go. I'm trying to downsize. It turns out that's a lot more work than upsizing. ;)

    congrats!
    i've never seen a sunburst caprice with anything but a tort guard.. which would make me want to change it, just to be different.

    Still think it's a crime they don't put the Stingray-style bridge with the mutes on all their basses. :cool:
