Got this in a great deal last weekend, a 2004 model Sandberg California VS4 custom order (reverse P pickups) in highgloss, non-relic finish. Talk about your sweet rock'n roll bass! Not sure what strings to put on it, though.. I already have a Fender P bass with flats, and a Fender jazz 5-string, so this _should_ probably have roundwounds on it, sound-wise.

    Nice one, enjoy!

No more love for Sandberg to share this man's joy? ;)

Nice bass. Love 'berg's and have two myself. TT5 soft relic aged roquefort and a mastepiece TM5 in white . The TT5 has superbrights and the TM5 sports a set of Cobalts and man do they make that bass come to life!

    Thanks :)

I am trying Dunlop flats on it now, happy so far. They can definately handle a pick.

Tried the roundwounds for a week, but after six-seven years of playing flats, rounds feel like sand paper..
