Having a reeeeaaaaal crappy week, but this is taking some of the edge off. The 4003 has always been my dream bass, the very first album I ever fell in love with was Yes’ Fragile. I was planning to get the 4003s but they didn’t have any in walnut and I both love the look of the walnut and wanted to avoid the finish issues and ultra-lacquered fingerboards on the painted models.

Sorry to hear about your situation..at least the Ric won't argue back..she may growl a bit, but never argue.

  4. The Ric also won't require ongoing support (strings not-with-standing). Sorry, but play on!

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Went through a divorce myself. Now I have a better wife, more basses, and a lifestyle she always wanted but didn't bother to stick around for.

Wow, I’ve been thru it twice , with same woman. Yes I married the same woman twice. Everyone told me not to ,but had to find out for myself.

    Nice bass:hyper:

Hang in there man , it’s all downhill from here. In a year you’ll feel better ,year two will be great, year three will be like it never happened.

Ignore people that say stay completely single, go have some fun, it’s good for the soul.:woot:

It’s character building to say the least.

Best of luck to you moving forward.

I went through it myself. Want "revenge"? Get in shape. Join a band. Find a fun-loving good woman, and never think about your first wife again. It drives them insane. :D

    Sweet bass.

People that live in glass houses should dress in the basement.

  15. Been through the divorce thing twice. Never fun. But there is good news! Your new bass will never make you want to drive your car through a brick wall. :) After a week or two, you can take a deep breath and then go do what every you want.

Curious what you'd have bought had she stayed?

Best part is you can keep several different basses in your bedroom, no more being faithful. Women for some reason just don’t jive with that.
