I’d mentioned that I’d really love to get another Thunderbird and showed her a picture of Epiphone Classic PRO in black. Much to my surprise, this showed up on my doorstep.

    Is it just me or have I noticed a trend, that Epiphone is going out of their way to bring joy to many bassists this year?

    My wife bought me a new bass a few years back. I knew it was there, but couldn't play it until Christmas - at least not when she was at home! (shhhhh!)

    She is amazing and puts up with me and my GAS. This Epiphone is about as close as I’ve seen to my first 76 thunderbird. It’s a killer.

    Congratulations!! Cool bass and even cooler wife & family!!

    My wife keeps complaining about the amount of basses and gear I own, but to be honest, she has given me at least three of the basses as gifts, a Rumble 500, a keyboard, various speakers and plenty of other "gear", and somehow she always manages to get it right (make, model, colour etc.)

    There is nothing more pleasurable than someone you love showing interest in something you love!!! (especially when she doesn't seem to pay any attention except to complain :D )

    Now, if only a '76 Olympic White/Maple Neck Fender P would show up. Then I would just KNOW my fam was just as cool!
