Got this last week, found on consignment at my local music store. 1.6" nut width. Shallow C neck profile. 34" scale. What looks like an Ebony board. Gotoh tuners w/D tuner and 2 piece bridge. Was listed as a Godlyke Disciple "prototype". One piece (i can't see a line)? Ash body with a satin finish. 3 piece Maple neck. Flats (Roto ?) fitted. Build quality (MIJ) very similar to my Ibby MC 924. Plays like the proverbial "Butta". The bad: Someone scrapped the original electronics, was active. Now passive with a volume, 5 position rotary switch, tone, and one empty hole. Only 3 of the switch positions function, and the tone knob is inop. Know one seems to know much about these basses, maybe from the late nineties or early 2000's, anyone know?
