I had a local luthier put this together for me:

    Roasted Ash body
Roasted Birds-Eye maple fingerboard w/slightly rolled edges
    German curly maple neck
    Aguilar P/j PUPs
Hipshot A-style bridge and ultralight tuners

Very nice. I am a great fan of roasted necks since they seem to be so stable. Mine never needs adjusting throughout the seasons from freezing cold to high humidity.

That top looks like it could've "done time" as part of an old barn door - in a good / gorgeous way! And the back of the neck, wow! Just gorgeous all around! How's it play & sound?

  10. Is that a Warmoth body? Looks awesome! Hard to tell from the pic, does it have a one piece ash top? I'm just considering a similar build w/ a roasted maple & ebony neck

Congrats! Looks really good and I'll bet it sounds better than it looks. Tempered Ash and Maple with Aggie PJs.....one of my favorite combinations.

I purchased the wood for the body at Exotic Woods, Burlington Ontario. The luthier cut it out and shaped it. The body is solid ash.

The set-up is really nice. Haven’t played it outside of the house yet but I am pretty impressed with the Aggie PUPS.
