I have drooled over this bass at my local shop for well over two years. Today was the day I got to make her mine! Nicest 5-string I have ever heard and played. I have tried over the years to get groovy with a 4-string Stingray, but I just don't like the necks. I was certain that the 5er would be even less likable; was I ever surprised the first time I picked this up. The neck profile is slim and sweet, and the narrow string spacing is perfect for my smaller mitts. A 'Ray I can love-happy me! :D
That's not a flaw in the third pic, just the way the light reflected.
  2. Very nice - these basses are fabulous.

I actually started to buy this same bass and finish. I owned a stingray 5 HH and couldn't tell any difference sound wise. These are well worth the money. Congratulations on a fine instrument.

A lot has been said about the SBMM instruments, and most of it good. This bass is truly no exeption. The quality of materials and craftsmanship are excellent, and all that sweet 'Ray tone is there! I am very happy with this bass, and really have no need to drop the money on the EBMM.
