Just received this Bass. I heard a lot about these Basses and figured I would give it a shot. Quick back story, over the last few years I have been downsizing and selling off a bunch of high quality gear, Fodera VW, Roscoes, Sadowsky SA200 amp to name a few things. Regretfully sold off a Roscoe century 5 fretless and a Tony Franklin fretless. I love the sound of a fretless so I took a chance on this budget priced Bass that I read about here on TB. I am amazed at the quality for the price point. The neck is great with the rolled edges. Feels fantastic in my hands. It is passive/active which helps me when recording.
I have read issues about controls being a bit wonky and I can't disagree, but for the price this bass is well worth it! Now, back to playing....................

Wow, nice! And it looks like a polyester-coated fingerboard, too. Congrats!

Nice bass. As far as the wonky controls, replacing the plastic knobs with some aluminum knobs + set screw fixed everything I didn't like about the controls.. it wasn't really that they were plastic that bothered me so much as they were pull on pull off knobs, and the stacked knobs would kind of get pushed together and if you turned one the other turned with it.

I went with some Gotohs and haven't thought about it since.

Those are nice looking basses. I've never played a fretless sire. But that looks like it's ready to go. Enjoy!
