Finally got it! This baby sounds better than it looks, and it looks better than anything I've ever seen (couldn't upload an image so here is one from the Internet) squier-vintage-modified-jaguar-bass-special-hb-1119168.png

What he means is there are no Classic Vibe Jaguars. There were different CV Precisions and Jazzes, but certain Squier models like Jaguars and Mustangs belonged solely to the Vintage Modified line.

That being said, that's one slick Jag you have there! I used the same preamp in a parts-bass build recently, so I know exactly how ferocious they can sound.

In that case I just got one of the best siquiers that can be found in my country for the price of an American Ash SX jazz :woot:

Picked up one of these ( in red) couple years ago. Very loud and thick sounding active pickup. Good overall quality, however its super lightweight.

    With which?

I actually like lightweight. My other bass is so light than a strat is heavier. I actually thought this was heavy for a second, being used to the other

I think that is the bass they sold with the Rocksmith game for the PS4/Xbox1..
Not a bad little active bass for sure. Adding that p pickup would be neat for sure.

I didn’t know these were lighter. My CIJ Jag is about 9.5 lbs. it takes a toll after a while.

As far as the U.S. Fender/Squier website is concerned, they're definitely discontinued. All they're pushing now are the VM Jaguar Specials and the VM Short Scale Jags, both with the P/J pickup configuration.
