Drive an hour to meet my guitarist to pick this one up, and I think she's gorgeous! The fit and feel of this bass is phenomenal, but I wasn't able to test it out plugged-in yet. Sounds loud unplugged, and I'm pretty sure the weight is around 8 and a half pound if I'm not mistaken. No hanging frets or dead spots, no messed up areas in the paint, and intonation is spot-on. The only very slight downside is that the bass looks more green than I anticipated, but I love it anyway. I'll try it out tomorrow in jazz band and get back to you guys on the sound.

My plans include pickup covers, a thumbrest, and some flats. Besides that, it's staying stock (for now)

Congrats! Broke down and bought that same bass. It should arrive this week. Glad to hear you're so happy with it. It looks killer.

Forgot to update: put some Fender Flats on it and jeez, this bass thunders! That being said, I love the bass but the sound is a bit anemic. I'm planning on replacing the pickup and electronics as well as ordering some Labella's soon. Overall, a very good deal for $180 shipped!
