    Might be candy cola.

Edit: oops. Looks like I'm not the first to say it.

  4. I think the dates match more with Candy Cola. Doesn't look like Candy Apple Red was a standard color from 08-12.

  5. Thanks man!!! It's a 59 Custom Shop Relic. I bought it from a guy here on talkbass. I wasn't even in the market. Was just poking around the classifieds on lunch break one day and saw it on here and that it was located in Maryland, so am I. Sent it to my GF and she actually said "wow, how much. I'll buy it if you don't". So, I met the fella that weekend and bought it for a GREAT price.

Aside from lake placid blue it's one of my favorite fender colors. I'd love to swap my jazz bass body from the 3t it is for a candy tang.

  7. Find a decent paint shop and do it! I had a P bass that was a terrible blue color painted white and love it!

Better yet, spray the candy tang right over the 3T and use nitro clear. It’ll wear through REALLY cool.

They did a color for a few years called "Candy Cola". That's what it looks like to me.

Didn't read the whole thread so sorry if I'm late to the game.

I have a '17 MIM Precision, in Candy Apple Red... in certain light, is has an orange tint to it... I would think Candy Cola would taste more like Mr. Pibb, than Diet Dr. Pepper...

My CAR Fender does not look like that.

Digital photos, compressed and then viewed on a random monitor is a poor way to ID colors. We're all seeing something different.

    00 Three-tone sunburst
    05 Olympic White

I'd have it stripped, I don't like wear and relic. But Everyone has their own flavor!
