I originally went looking for a Wolf 7-string, but this Jazz fiver caught my eye.

    8st3u9q.

Couldn't get a good picture at home, so here are Reverb's pics of it

35" scale, gold hardware, passive bass! With the 15% off, I couldn't pass it up!

I ordered some gold La Bella flats to go with it!

    Only 2 tiny complaints:
    - It's not shielded. However, there is not enough noise to make me hurry up and shield it...
    - THE NECK DIVE IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE. The headstock is enormous (same size as a Fender headstock), and it feels like the wood used for the body wings is very lightweight.

Other than that, I can't find a flaw on this bass, no dents or scars, no loose screws, truss rod works. It was set up perfectly, spot-on intonation and all. For such a low price I was searching for some kind of flaw, but all is well.

It's gonna look (and sound) great with the gold flats :)

I hear that gold hardware does not age well, but I don't care!

Output is surprisingly loud for a passive jazz. I have no complaints about the pickups.
However, I'm not familiar with them. They are called Tesla pickups.

All in all, I've got a neck-through, passive, 35" scale jazz bass. For only $450 (after taxes/shipping)

Congrats on your Wolf 5 string!
A Comfort Strapp should cancel out the neck dive.

Those Tesla pickups seem to be on the newer series of Wolf basses.
Mine is old series. It had G&B.
    Now it has Delanos.

My Wolf didn't have gold hardware until I switched it out.
    But it is holding up.

I do have a Comfort Strapp, but oddly enough, I don't use it because I find it uncomfortable. I am aware that they come in 3 different sizes and I have the longest one, maybe I need a shorter one. I'm 5'9" 180

If you are still concerned about neck dive you might try some Hipshot Ultralite tuners.

Bro! I thought you were getting the other model? You changed? This is really nice also, I just thought you were doing the other bass.

Dang. That price for that bass is insane.

    Beautiful wood on that thing.

Took it in to a tech to get it shielded. I'm so sad without her!

The other model? It's the same bass as always :D

Unfortunately, no. I recently sold ALL of my gear except my bass amp.

Yeah, I felt like something was missing and I needed to reset. I also paid off a huge bill with all the stuff I sold!

I currently have a digital piano which was my first instrument I played before bass. I've decided that I will get a VERY budget 5-string, under $200
