    I just got it, and I'm at work. It plays like any Ubass, but it's my first 5 string. I will put it though it's paces this weekend. I have a gig Saturday night.

    I would guess that string retainer is supposed to be that way?
    Is the headstock set back that far that there should be such a break angle?

    Well one gig under her belt. It was very easy to play, and sat nicely in the mix. I had to roll off the highs to eliminate string noise, but it was very easy to play, and sliding was a joy. Unlike my last UBass that would feel sticky. The only gripe I had was that the B was hard to hear below E, but still was good enough for a live situation.

    I did get some strange looks from a few people, but that was half the fun.
