couldn’t wait to get home from work and anxiously await for the delivery driver to hand me my newest member of the family.

I present to you my new Serek Midwestern!

Loads of thump but very light and comfortable in the hands. Excellent craftsmanship as well.

My gosh! It's a mash-up of Epiphone, Guild, and Spector. Love the finish and am really curious about how the pickup sounds.

The pickup is a Novak Bisonic
    It’s a very fat sound similar to a P Bass but a bit deeper. It’s also a 30.5 scale. It’s a joy to play!

I love the way those Serek basses look. That red finish is lovely. Never seen or heard one in person, but they look great. Simple, solid, classy.
    Congrats

I took these with my phone so they aren’t as good as the other pics... but isn’t the grain just perfect?

What wood is that fretboard? Just played a Serek Sacramento yesterday, and am already planning on what to order from Jake, can't wait!

    Quite appealing!

I had an Ibanez guitar once with abalone inlays, but paired with gold hardware and more abalone on the tailpiece, I found it just too flashy. To my eye, it looks just right on your bass: just enough accent, but not too much.
And my favorite pickup: what not t'like?!

Plus it reminds me of a 1960s, MIA Epiphone Crestwood guitar I once owned: poor man's SG with mini humbuckers.

It’s wenge! I definitely recommend serek basses. Mine is a joy and jake is very responsive and helpful throughout the process
