Hey B-Mac I believe it to be a new 2020 CV p bass body, the 250k pots barely fit in the route so my best guess is it's from a CV 70's new tear down.
I’ve been kinda itching for a new parts build, and/or a new P... and you’re not helping! It’s a beaut, Clark. Enjoy it in good health!
Oh what. From where? Every place I’ve found was like $350 CAD for a body. Even if the CAD is sucky, there’s no way it’d be double USD at some shop
Huh seems a bit pricey to me. Allen Eden finished bodies are around $120 on fleabay all day and even MIM $249 TB bodies, right now there are listings for 2020 Fender Player loaded bodies for $349 with free ship, so check fleabay. This body is from Franklin Works in Tennessee.
Haha thanks Killing Floor, they faux sho do. The 62's I put in pair incredibly well with the flats, like they were made fir eachother.
These kinds of builds seem to be a great way to build Fender-style axes: Prefinished body, Fender neck, easy enough to get hardware and electronics from many sources, and you end up spending less than a retail Fender or a Warmoth, etc., build. Good on you !
Beauty! Is that tortoiseshell guard as dark as it looks? If so, that seems like an especially good way to go here.
Thank for that. For sure J, a little patience, squirrel away some parts (when the great deals show up) and in due time... I think you mentioned that in my NBD for the fleabay score it was a loaded walnut P.
Yea it's definetly on the darker side I almost went with a black but it was too close to my Peavey Fury so I went with tort didn't get to pick it but I know it came from a 2020 60's or 70's CV. Thanks
