I was gonna put together a parts bass to replicate a '62 P reissue, but I had some lighting stuff laying around and was able to trade for this .
I added the tort guard and covers. I was planning a 60' logo, but not gonna sand down a new bass for that.
Just need to order a 60's pup and reverse tuners...

Please excuse my ignorance, but WTH are reverse tuners, and what advantage does it serve? Oh nice bass :)

Tuners that turn the other way to tighten/loosen. Nothing special about them except... well... they're reverse?

Older fenders had tuners with longer stems that turn the reverse direction . I guess there's no real practical advantage... But they look vintage which appeals to me visually. :)

I honestly can't see a discernible difference. Oh well to each their own I guess
