NCD: GK NEO 112 (only paid $169!)

So Monday morning I walked into work with the same general “dead inside” feeling as most people on a Monday morning... but I work at a music store and on my way to my desk I had to stop and do a double take when I saw a GK NEO 112 staring back at me.

It appeared to be brand new, but it was definitely a used item, and the used gear tag listed the cab for $199.99. Underpriced from what I can tell, and with my employee discount it only cost me $169.

Now I just need to decide if I want a second neo 112 or if I should throw the neo 212 under it.

 

Of course! We didn’t have any GK heads in stock though so I couldn’t test bi-amp mode… That being said, I will be running at full range 100% of the time anyway.

 

That was the plan, but I liked it so much with my band last night that I might just keep it and get a second (112 or 212)

 

At full retail it definitely seems like the 212 is a better buy for only $200 more... at $169 though, the 112 cant be beat! Plus I like having at least one small cab.
