    With all the posts about Class D lightweight heads and micro cabinets I thought I'd buck the trend and start one about my new acquisition...

    Behold the monolithic Orange OBC810!

    I've been wanting one of these for a while now but they don't exist on the second hand market here and new they are worth their weight in gold. Luckily however a mate of mine who works for a music equipment sales and hire company let me know they were selling the cabs that Suzi Quatro used on her last tour and that he would cut me a great deal, which he did :)

    I've only played it at lounge room volume for a few minutes so far but it is absolutely glorious. Such a balanced and rounded tone. I am looking forward to giving it a good go next rehearsal.

    I'm now considering having a magnet logo made for the AD200 that says 'Blammo!' in the Orange font.

    When I get to the point where I can afford a roadie, if I use cabs ( I don't now), I'll grab a couple of these.
