Delta's are 350 watts each and have a 56 oz. magnet

    Sensitivity is 98.8 dB 1W/1m
    2.5" voice coil

If it were me, I'd use the Deltas for dirt. Which are you doing?

Just to be the devil's advocate, why run a stereo setup like that? Seems like a bunch of extra stuff to cart around for personal taste.

IIRC, the 350 has an uneffected out that would allow you to send a clean signal to a PA and get a similiar result without the extra amp?

One amp pretends to a rhythm guitar player...during gui**** solos.......Drone/Doom band....plus I like the combination of sound and not every gig we play has or requires FOH support.....

Many people think the sonic benefits are worth the schlep. I don't disagree, either. Life is short. Why listen to yourself in meh sound if you don't have to? Not to say all small rigs have meh sound, but if the dude's able bodied enough to tote the stuff and thinks the sonic benefits are worth it, then it beats leaving it home and bumming out all during the gig wishing he had his real rig. Besides, it's two 210's and a couple 20 lb amps. Not exactly the Gene Simmons wall of amps, is it?

Aha. Doom. Say no more, my friend, for you have opened my eyes!

I do like that idea of "ghosting" a rhythm guitar. I've never thought of it like that.

No, but as a smaller dude, I was mostly curious as to what he got out of it. I'm lucky enough to have found a tone I'm finally comfortable with, and it doesn't require anything extra, so I always like to ask the question when I see a rig like this. The fact that he plays a genre which really really benefits from running a completely clean tone makes this rig make a lot of sense to me!

I use an octave up and usually fuzz and or overdrive to cop a phony guitar sound during solo's.....also this way no matter what....i never lose my fundamental
