Here's a "clean" pic of the happy couple...

    ;)

...the bass is beautiful, plays great, sounds tremendous (Aguilar OPB-3 equipped, even! :D), we won't discuss the owner/player, ok? :p

Gard, you mean man, didn't even let me start it my self!

I took the bass to rehearsal today, and as I sold my "Big Rig" (tm) I only had the Nemesis combo..

    Verdict?

HOLY GOD. This thing sounds incredible, and plays just as sweet. the OPB-3 is juanderful, although i need to adjust the output on the active side (its currently matched up with the passive..which is good, but, not what I need.)

Oh, and the humping occured with the Fed Ex guy there, I believe. I think he was a bit perturbed. Its not like he'd understand, right?

The other Elrick we got in is incredibly sick. Someone will be lucky. lucky lucky lucky.

  8. Finally something that doesn 't ask "Is it in?"

Whatever happened to the classy days when you'd try to get to your bass before getting jiggy on it. Maybe take it out to meet your parents.
These days, people just jump its bones right off the UPS truck. With the UPS guy watching, nonetheless.
Speaking of which I dig those sexy curves :D . Lucky I haven't had a chance to lick it like that Roscoe 7 stringer.

Dude, I TOLD you, that won't stop anyone. I have two younger brothers...you think licking a bass is gonna slow me down? Heck no.

Now if it were to go farther than lick...then maybe, but just licking the bass? Bah, adds character.

    Pure, distilled evil. :D

I think you scared him off. He almost left without the COD check...

    ;)

This wins the "Understatement Of The Year" award. Spalted maple burl...just rolls off the tongue...and you won't believe your eyes when you see it. Amazing bass. Thankfully, I am so broke I'm immune to it's charms....that and it has those tone-destroying metal bars on the fingerboard...

    :D

  14. Goodness, Gard. I didn't realize this was the sort of business you were running.

    Licking is for amatuers....

    :p

...y'all need to remember that particular instrument was in my clutches for 3 days, and I was alone and unsupervised with it for the majority of that time. Neal is a student of mine, just think what I may have been capable of...
