I don't know if it was the unpleasant strap i used in GC, but when i was A/Bing the stingray and sterling I could have sworn there was a discernible neck dive in the sterling. Am I right? or is my right leg 3" longer than my left leg?

mine has decent neck dive - but that's cos it's got a manly graphite neck instead of the sissy maple/rosewood one ;)

it didn't have it when it had it's old neck though.

  3. The Sterling's smaller body may contribute to it's dive. The smaller neck may not make up the difference compared to the 'Ray.

I've never noticed a dive problem with mine. I use a typical leather strap (Manson's), which is smooth on the outside and flesh on the inside - it's not particularly grippy.

What finish was it? The naturals and trans finishes are ash, right? Mine's paint.
