I own a MIA DLX FMT V and The "B" is fine, also it has no neck dive issues what so ever!

I've got a 2004 MIA Deluxe 5, no neck dive and the B is fine, I have noticed that the B is more focused with a tapered core B and strung through the bridge as opposed to through the body. I use Elixirs

I use the Fender 8350's nps's taper core "E" and "B" when I can find them, these really get a focused "B".

  6. B: Not outstanding, but at high volume nobody notices.
Neckdive? I remember that this bass balances outstandingly.

2004 MIA Jazz Deluxe V. BadassV bridge. No neck dive at all...balances perfectly. B was fine before the Badass and a little better w/the Badass. Dean Markley 2000s (tapered B, E and A) make it come alive.

I've never played a Fender with any noticeable neck dive.

    I don't do 5s, so I can't help you with that. ;)
