+1, spot on. All the other five-string Lakland necks are identical.Hi, the DJ5 has a different radius than the the -01, -02. JO neck. I don't have the specifics anymore, but the DJ5 had a rounder radius than the others, which are flatter.

As a four-string player, I haven't played them enough to have an opinion. Plus, that's going to be pretty subjective. I know there are folks who dig the DJ5, though. In your opinion, does the greater radius translate into a more/less comfortable neck than the neck on the 55-01/02?
I played the 44-01 way back and tried the DJ4 recently, and actually remember the 44-01 being more comfortable. I wonder if the same applies with their 5-string counterparts.
I think my DJ5 neck is the most comfortable I have ever played. It is, if I remember correctly, a tad less wide than the other Lakie 5's (only a matter of a couple of millimetres), and the fretboard radius is 12" - ie flattish but not VERY flat. The neck itself is the opposite of chunky - it feels like a shallow "c" shape, and as I said, is supremely comfortable. It makes my ATK feel like a baseball bat, as a reference. Much less rounded.
You won't hate it, believe me.
