    hwo do neck through basses keep from falling into 3 pieces on the floor????

    Seriously, though, and someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the neck and body wings are usually grooved so they interlock, and then glued together.

    I've never heard of one just falling apart, but I DID have a dream once that it happened to my Carvin... :eek:

    They dip the toothpicks in Elmers glue.

    The same way bolt-ons with 2 or 3 piece bodies do -- lots of gum-chewing at the factory!
