What necks will fit a Fender '51 Reissue Bass?

I think it needs a squared heel neck and I'm pretty sure you can get one like that from Warmoth, but are they available anywhere else?

Also, will vintage Tele bass necks fit the Reissues?

I have a '51 'burst body coming in and I'm looking for a neck for it.

I believe any Precision, Jazz, or Telecaster bass neck will fit. However, as you note, the P and J's necks have a rounded heel. They will fit, but you'll have an unsightly gap between body and neck heel.

Yeah, I'm only looking for a squared heel neck.

Most of our bass necks have a square 21-fret fingerboard extension, but the actual heel is rounded on all our 4-string necks. On a real '51 body our neck would fit with the aforementioned gap, but the fingerboard extension would cover it up.

I don't know of anybody making aftermarket square-heel bass necks like ths.
