My Fender Bass bridge saddle adjustment screws stick up too high, because that saddles need to be fairly low and I scrap my hand on this sharp little basta....err things. anyone have any ideas on how to cover these with something small and smooth? I can't raise the saddles to lower the screws, It will mess with my action in a bad way.

I need some magical plastic little doo-hickey-thing-a-ma-jigs.

The usual trick is to remove the screw and cut off the bottom the appropriate amount using either a dremel tool or a file. To do this you will probably need to put the screw or the saddle in a clamp or vice - be sure to electrical tape or something to protect the threads.

You can get shorter screws, esp for E and G string saddles.
