Hi, All. I recently bought a used Roland BN-100 bass amp. There is supposed to be a footswitch to turn on the Chorus, but GC did not receive it when they took in the amp. Any idea where I can find one of these? Is there another brand that will work? Thanks.
You should be able to use almost any single-channel on/off footswitch with a 1/4" phono TS connection. Just make sure that it's of the latching variety, not momentary. There are lots of 'em out there: Fender; Livewire; Peavey; etc. Boss makes a relatively inexpensive one called the FS-5L (latched; not to be confused with the FS-5U, which is unlatched, or momentary). The FS-5L uses two AA batteries to power an LED on/off indicator, and you'd need to provide your own cable.
