Need advice! Changing pups in a Modulus Genesis jazz bass

I currentlhy have a Modulus gensis jazz 4 that plays and resonates amazingly. It has a passive Bartolini setup right now, but I would like to try some new jazz pups in it. I think I may stay passive but feel free to convince me otherwise. What do you think? Sadowsky? Dimarzio ultra jazz? Basslines? Lindy Fralin? Aero? EMG? Give me your experiences with these pups and possible preamps. This modulus only has a graphite spine layered both sides with a lot a wood, so it doe not have too much of that high end graphite sizzle. The barts just sound too much like barts and I want are more versatile and phat sound. Let me knw what you think, Thanks, Marc
