    Looking at a few amps right now any thoughts anyone
    Mesa M6 Carbine, Walkabout 112 Scout, Ampeg (new) BA600 210, Peavey YB2 Head 410 cab

    Out of those, the M6 Carbine through a PowerHouse 1200. You can also tell it from the others even from the back because that's where it says "made in the U.S.A."

    Either of those Mesa's would be my choice. Not big on the Ampeg SS combos, but the new all tube Peavey head also looks to be a winner. The Mesa's are in another class altogether, much better, imo.

    Just bought the Scout 1x12 a few weeks ago (see my review in gear review). I tried a bunch of different combos including the Scout 1x15, SWR Redhead, Fender 2x10, etc. The Scout 1x12 is amazing tons of power, tube preamp, great eq, massive bottom end, excellent construction and fits in my trunk! It ain't cheap but you get what you pay for and IMO it's worth every penny.
