Hi there, I fell into a Sunn Concert lead amp a while back. After doing some testing with other cabs, I found it to be quite loud enough for my needs. The tone is also awesome, but I'm also old school. The volume cuts in and out when I turn the various tone and volume knobs, I've tried spraying them out, using electronic cleaner, vacuuming, etc, and I don't have access to the internal parts that might be necessary for repair. Can someone recommend a good amp tech in the Seattle area? I also have a limited budget due to the Finance Department (wife). Thanks in advance.
My Daughter lives on Whidbey Island....I'm going to have to make a trip up there and stop in and see this young man....
I am considering taking an SVT to Solderhaus in Port Orchard. Has anybody done business with that guy?
I take tube amps to Velvetone, and solid state amps to American Music's repair shop. Both are close to the house, and I'm pretty lazy when it comes to fighting traffic. They both do good work, so I haven't had any reason to go anywhere else.
I've never had tech work done by Hodgy, but I've played gigs with him and can vouch for him being a stand up guy. If for whatever reason that doesn't work out, I've had great results from both Condor Electronics and the American Music shop in Fremont.
