Need Fretted stingray 5 Neck

    Ok,

    So I made the decision to buy another Musicman after owning mine since 78'. Hmmm what should I buy? Ahhh!!! a fretless five String with vintage finish and piezo pickup in bridge. $1600 ? oh well I'll own it forever. What's this fretless bass doesn't sound as good as a fretted bass for R&B music and me in a R&B band? OK I'm a fool. But would any one out there like to trade their 5 sting fretted neck in at least good condition for a brand new fretless one. I ve searched and found graphites for $450 (moses thru dealer). So what do ya think?

    I would suggest looking on eBay. There's probably some good stuff on there. You should also try posting in the Classifieds forum.

    you could also take a screw driver to guitar center and take a SR5 off the stand...

    Thanks for the input guys. I think I might have a local luithier make me one from scatch for $250.00.

    How did you know I got this at a Guitar Center???? Do Do Do Do....Do Do Do Do
