    hey im a 15 year old kid who is trying to play bass pretty good. I'm currently in a band with just a couple of friends but we dont really get anything done. My other good friend has been in several good bands and can do sweeps up and down his guitar like its his job, he currently quit his band is looking for a bass player he said i have every thing i need to play I just need to get better. i have no friends who play bass so i dont have any body to go to get help.........So can you please help me!!:help: i pretty much need to be helped from the very begining:help:

    Id start on youtube. but private lessons would be better.

    Find a good, clear instruction book, a good teacher, and practice regularly. Playing in a group of musicians who are more skilled than you is a great way to improve.

    Find a good teacher to get you started with proper technique and play every chance you get.
